Jason Wood wins 2023
Priscilla McKee Award
Our Awards Story

Congratulations to Jason Wood, Simmons University Archivist & Library Deputy Director, on receiving the Priscilla McKee Award for exceptional service to the Simmons community.
Established in 1988 by the Alumnae/i Association of Simmons University, the Priscilla McKee Award is presented annually to one member of the faculty or staff of the University in recognition of exceptional service to the Simmons community. Priscilla McKee, Vice President of Simmons College from 1979 to 1988, was noted for her intense dedication to the best interests of the College. Priscilla retired in 1988. In recognition of her 31 years of service to Simmons, the Alumnae/i Association Executive Board voted unanimously to make her an honorary member and established the Priscilla McKee Faculty/Staff Award for outstanding service to Simmons. Last year’s recipient was Richard Voos, Simmons Associate Provost for Planning, Assessment, and Accreditation.
The Alumnae/i Association invites Simmons faculty, staff, alumnae/i and student to submit nominations for this year’s award. The criterion for the award is exceptional service to the Simmons community.
Take a moment to nominate a member of the faculty or staff who demonstrates the dedication to Simmons for which Vice President McKee was so well known. Please be specific about the nature of the nominee’s contributions and the impact of the contributions on the community. You may nominate more than one individual.
Award nominations should be submitted by April 18. The nomination form, which can be completed online, is available at https://forms.gle/Kk4nB99dHUsTgtiV8. If you have questions, please contact Lynne.Devnew@gmail.com.
Thank you!
